Stripe Dinner Plate

Funk up your dinner table with this versatile plate from Casa Cubista. These striped plates look particularly fun when combining different colours and styles and are durable enough for everyday meals or entertaining.

Casa Cubista's ceramists are celebrated for holding the secrets of handcrafting artisanal techniques for over 200 years.  In the family pottery workshop, each piece is shaped on Rui's pottery wheel before being hand painted by his aunt Regina. As handmade products, each piece has a unique finish and products may vary slightly.

Material Terracotta - Uses a clay with a rich body colour giving the characteristic base colour, and has a low glaze firing allowing bright coloured glazes. Porous body allows for good thermal expansion and contraction properties making it an ideal body for cookware such as tajines and roasters. 
Care instructions In order to maintain intact the beauty of this piece throughout generations, hand wash is recommended. The base of jugs, mugs and vases may initially sweat. This is normal and will decrease over time. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by watermarks. If using a vase or jug to hold flowers, please change the water daily.  Some marks in the glaze are natural and expected, as is some crazing. This will not affect the use or durability of the pieces.
